Mobilize Friends and Family

Mobilize the people in your personal network to get-out-the-vote for the 2022 Midterm elections

Get Started

  • Make a list of the people you would like to reach out to. Start with ten, just to get a feel for it.

  • Make a list of actions you would like to mobilize different people to do. (Scroll down for ideas.)

  • Once each person has completed their action, ask them to reach out to their network.

  • Repeat

  • Win

Who to contact

  • People you have a relationship with. The goal is to get people to read the message because they know you.

  • Democrats vs. Republicans? This is up to you. 100% voter turnout is ideal, but sometimes you can focus on people who will respond to your request.

  • Local or Long-Distance? It depends on what your call-to-action is.

  • You can even sort your list based on where people live, for example, you can call all your friends in Texas.

Use this Excel template to track your list.

And then: The Ask

  • Make sure they have a plan to vote

  • Get them to call their friends

  • Encourage them to support a specific candidate or issue

GAI has created a few resources to help you navigate this process, but you’re just calling your friends. It’s easy!
